The 2 part engine hotshot pack was designed for the wildland firefighter that stays close to the truck most of the time.  He needs to have basic gear readily accessible but does not need the added weight of a fully loaded line pack.  The removable line pack can be quickly snapped onto the padded harness with adjustable straps.  The padded harness has a sleeve for a 70oz or 100oz Camelbak water system.

 This wildland Hotshot line pack comes with a pocket for a hydration system, large flap pocket , file pocket, 4 fusee pockets each side, dual side pockets, and dual opening fire shelter pocket.  Shoulder straps are laddered for accessory attachments with split "D" rings.  Chest strap, lumbar straps and glove strap are standard on all pack configurations.
